Late Amad strike seals Ivory Coast win over Ecuador

Ivory Coast clinched a vital three points in their World Cup Group E campaign, defeating Ecuador 1-0 thanks to a late strike from Amad Diallo. The decisive goal came in the 90th minute, securing a precious victory for the Ivorian side.

The winning goal originated from Wilfried Singo's run down the right wing. Singo played the ball inside to Amad, who expertly steered it into the far corner of the net from the edge of the penalty area. The Manchester United forward's clinical finish proved to be the difference between the two teams.

Ecuador had a frustrating match, hitting the crossbar twice in the first half through efforts from John Yeboah and Alan Minda.
