Legislator He Hsin-chun is championing a revitalization strategy for Taichung's historic downtown, dubbed "old city innovation." She emphasizes the area's significance as the birthplace of the city and a primary destination for tourists. He plans to increase investment in urban renewal, focusing on enhancing pedestrian infrastructure and creating more parking through underground and multi-level facilities.
