Leagues Cup 2026: Toluca and Monterrey meet in an all-Mexican final

Toluca and Monterrey will define the first Mexican champion in Leagues Cup history when they meet at Houston’s Shell Energy Stadium. A large contingent of supporters from both clubs is expected for an all-Mexican final.

For Toluca, the match offers a chance to add the only trophy missing since Antonio Mohamed became coach. The Argentine manager, known as the “Turco,” will face the club he loves, but his professionalism and ambition to win a sixth title with Toluca take priority.
