Actor Lee Joo-seung has emerged as the winner of the director survival program 'Director's Arena,' securing a prize of 100 million won.

Lee Joo-seung announced his victory on social media, stating, "I won the final competition in the director survival program 'Director's Arena,' where I took on the roles of screenwriter, director, and lead actor, becoming the recipient of 100 million won."

The ENA and Lifetime variety show 'Director's Arena' features short drama directors competing to create projects within limited time and conditions. Lee Joo-seung ultimately triumphed over competitors including actors Lee Yoo-jin and Choi Gwi-hwa.

In a photo shared online, Lee Joo-seung is seen smiling brightly while holding a panel displaying the 100 million won prize money. He expressed his joy, saying, "I think this is my first time coming in first place in my life. I'm so happy."

He also extended his gratitude to the production team and cast, including PDs, assistant directors, cinematographers, lighting directors, and actress Yoon So-yi, for their contributions to his project. Lee Joo-seung also mentioned that his work, 'The Woman Upstairs,' will be released on the short-form platform Lezhin Snack.
