Lee Joon-gi plays a father whose daughter is kidnapped in “Kidnap Game,” premiering next month

Seven kidnappings erupt simultaneously across seven Asian cities in “Kidnap Game,” a thriller set to premiere on Channel A on the 6th of next month.

The story unfolds in Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Naha and Manila. Seven people receive different missions and enter a survival game, racing to complete their tasks first in order to save the people they love.

Lee Joon-gi plays Han Ki-joo, a genius surgeon driven to extreme choices after his visually impaired daughter is kidnapped. Kentaro Sakaguchi plays Niide Toshiro, an elite detective who enters the center of the vast game to rescue his wife.

The cast also includes Taiwanese actor Kе Jiayan, Filipino actor Joel Torre and Stanley Yau, a member of the Hong Kong boy band Mirror. The drama is jointly produced by South Korea’s Simstory, Japan’s Fuji Television Network and Hong Kong’s MakerVille, and will be released in 18 regions worldwide.
