Actor Lee Jun-young shared a poignant story about his struggles during his early career, revealing that he worked a night shift at a convenience store even after debuting with the K-pop group U-KISS. The revelation came during his appearance on the tvN talk show 'You Quiz on the Block' on July 8.

Due to a lull in group activities and difficult financial circumstances, Lee took on the late-night job at a convenience store near his home. He described the unexpected encounter with his agency manager at the store as a moment of profound embarrassment and sadness. "I didn't want to be seen like that, so I was so ashamed and embarrassed that I couldn't say anything and just cried," Lee recalled, his voice filled with emotion.

The manager, upon learning of Lee's situation, reportedly drove him home and shed tears with him. Lee recounted how he persevered through those challenging times, vowing to succeed while working behind the convenience store counter. He faced over 100 unsuccessful auditions and battled industry prejudice against former idols.

Despite these obstacles, Lee Jun-young has since carved out a successful career as a prominent actor, demonstrating resilience and determination in overcoming his difficult beginnings.
