Lee Sang-soon pauses activities after being diagnosed with a nervous-system disorder

Musician and guitarist Lee Sang-soon, the husband of singer Lee Hyori, has temporarily suspended all activities after doctors diagnosed him with reduced vagal function, a nervous-system disorder.

His agency, Antenna, said on the sixth that Lee had recently experienced a sudden decline in his condition and received hospital treatment. Doctors advised him to rest, prompting him to take a temporary break from his radio program as well as his other activities.

Lee had hosted MBC FM4U’s “Perfect Day with Lee Sang-soon” every afternoon. He has been absent since Aug. 27, apart from prerecorded broadcasts, and a substitute host is currently presenting the program.

Antenna said it would support Lee so he could focus fully on his recovery. The agency added that upcoming schedules would remain flexible and depend on his condition. Lee also addressed fans on social media, apologizing and explaining that he had suddenly felt unwell the previous Wednesday, Aug. 26.
