Lee Yong-pil Appointed New President of KEIT

Lee Yong-pil has taken the helm as the 6th president of the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology Evaluation and Planning (KEIT). His inauguration on the 11th marks a new chapter for the institute, led by a seasoned expert in industrial and technology policy.

Lee brings a wealth of experience from his tenure at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. He previously served as the ministry's spokesperson and held key roles such as director general for material and convergence industry policy, director general for advanced industry policy, and head of the planning and coordination office. His career path demonstrates a deep understanding of the intricacies of industrial development and technological advancement in South Korea.

In his inaugural address, Lee outlined his vision for KEIT.
