Lee Young-jun scores his second goal of the season as Grasshoppers remain winless after four matches

Lee Young-jun found the net again, but Grasshoppers’ difficult start to the Swiss Super League continued with a 5-2 defeat away to Vaduz.

The 23-year-old South Korean forward scored in the 35th minute at Rheinpark Stadion, heading in after Nicolas Muci nodded the ball down to him. The goal made it 1-1 after Vaduz’s Luthfi Dalipi opened the scoring in the 12th minute.

It was Lee’s second goal of the season and his first in the league. He had scored in Grasshoppers’ 5-0 Swiss Cup win away from home on Aug. 16, making this his second consecutive match with a goal.

Grasshoppers fell behind again before halftime when Dominik Schwyzer scored in the 43rd minute. Muci restored parity at 2-2 shortly after the interval, but Vaduz scored three more goals in the second half to secure victory.

Grasshoppers have played one fewer match than some of their rivals, but the result left them with one draw, three losses and one point. They remain last in the 12-team Super League. Vaduz, meanwhile, earned its first league win of the season after four straight defeats and moved into 11th place.
