LG accelerates AI cooperation with Nvidia

LG Group is intensifying its partnership with Nvidia in the field of artificial intelligence, building on a recent high-level meeting between LG Chairman Koo Kwang-mo and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. This renewed focus aims to concretize joint AI initiatives and explore new technological frontiers.

Following their Seoul meeting just two weeks prior, a delegation of over 30 LG executives and technical staff, including leaders from LG CNS, LG Science Park, and LG Electronics' CTO office, are scheduled to visit Nvidia's headquarters in Santa Clara, California. The group will engage in technical sessions and project-specific discussions to assess the commercial viability of various AI applications.

Discussions are expected to cover areas such as physical AI, robotics, AI data centers, and future mobility solutions. A key objective of this collaboration is to leverage LG's extensive technological expertise across its various business units, fostering a unified 'ONE LG' approach to innovation and market development. LG CNS, in particular, is poised to play a significant role, having focused on AI data centers and physical AI as future growth engines, expanding into areas like AI GPU infrastructure and immersion cooling.
