LG Electronics launches world's first 1000Hz gaming monitor at FHD resolution

LG Electronics has unveiled a groundbreaking gaming monitor, the 'LG UltraGear 25G590B', setting a new benchmark for display technology. This next-generation monitor is the first in the world to achieve a native 1000Hz refresh rate while maintaining a Full HD (1920x1080) resolution, eliminating the need to compromise on image quality or screen size, a common limitation in previous high-refresh-rate displays.

The 1000Hz refresh rate means the display can output up to 1000 frames per second, significantly reducing motion blur and stuttering. This capability is particularly beneficial for high-end users who demand both rapid response times and precise image clarity. The monitor is engineered to provide smooth tracking of enemy movements in first-person shooter (FPS) games, allowing players to discern fine details and target opponents with greater accuracy, crucial for split-second decisions in competitive gaming.

Beyond its core display performance, the LG UltraGear 25G590B incorporates advanced features to enhance the user experience. An AI-driven 'AI Picture' function automatically optimizes display settings by detecting the content being shown, while 'AI Sound' creates virtual surround sound for increased immersion.
