LG Twins bolstered by return of key players Moon Bo-kyung and Moon Sung-joo

The leading professional baseball team LG Twins has received a significant boost with the return of two key players, infielder Moon Bo-kyung and outfielder Moon Sung-joo. Their return to the first-team roster comes at a crucial time as the team fights to maintain its top position in the league.

Moon Bo-kyung had been sidelined since May 5 after suffering an ankle injury during a game. Initial medical assessments projected a recovery period of seven to eight weeks. However, after dedicated rehabilitation and playing in several Futures (minor league) games, he has regained match fitness. In five minor league games, Moon recorded three hits in 16 at-bats, with two of those hits being doubles, showcasing his readiness.

Outfielder Moon Sung-joo was also previously removed from the first-team roster on May 1 due to an abdominal injury. His return, alongside Moon Bo-kyung's, strengthens the Twins' lineup as they aim for a championship. The team also made corresponding roster moves, sending outfielder Lee Jae-won and infielder Kim Hyun-jong to the minor league team.
