LG Twins' 'Moon-Moon Duo' to Join Team for Weekend Series in Changwon; FA Pitcher Also Called Up

The highly anticipated return of the LG Twins' "Moon-Moon Duo" to the main squad has been postponed, with Moon Bo-gyeong and Moon Seong-ju now slated to join the team for the weekend series against NC in Changwon. Initially expected to rejoin sooner, their integration into the first team has been pushed back, much to the anticipation of fans.

Manager Yeom Kyung-yup confirmed the updated timeline on Friday, stating that the duo would be available for the upcoming games. Alongside the two outfielders, relief pitcher Kim Kang-ryul, a significant acquisition through free agency, is also set to be called up to the first team. This move signals a strengthening of the team's roster as they head into a crucial part of the season.

Both Moon Bo-gyeong and Moon Seong-ju have been on the mend from injuries. Moon Bo-gyeong has been recovering from a ligament issue in his ankle, while Moon Seong-ju has been addressing a side muscle strain. They have been actively participating in the Futures League since May 30, working to regain match fitness and form before their return to top-tier competition.
