LG Twins reclaim 3rd place, Doosan's Kwak Bin gets 10th win, ending Lotte's streak

The LG Twins have reclaimed third place in the KBO League standings after a decisive 12-3 victory over the Hanwha Eagles. The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Twins, bringing their season record to 61 wins, 1 draw, and 50 losses. Park Jun-soon later scored on a throwing error by Lotte's third baseman Park Seung-wook.

Elsewhere in the league, the Samsung Lions edged out the NC Dinos 2-1 in a tight contest. Samsung's Chris Flexen pitched eight strong innings, giving up just one run. The game's decisive run came from a solo home run in the sixth inning by Samsung's Park Gye-beom. In a dramatic finish, the last-place Kiwoom Heroes came from behind to defeat the Kia Tigers 8-7. Trailing 7-2 heading into the bottom of the ninth, Kiwoom scored six runs, capped by a walk-off grand slam from Kim Jae-hyun, his first career grand slam and walk-off home run.
