LGS Exam Results Announced: 452 Students Score Perfect Marks

A total of 452 students have achieved a perfect score on Turkey's LGS central exam, a crucial test for high school admissions. The Ministry of National Education announced that 994,358 eighth-grade students participated in the exam, which saw a 97.23% attendance rate out of over 1 million registered candidates.

The exam, comprising 90 questions across verbal and numerical sections, was conducted in 4,244 schools nationwide and in 11 centers across 8 countries. The 452 students who answered all questions correctly earned the maximum score of 500. The application period for high schools will commence on July 13 and conclude on July 27, with placement results to be released on August 5.

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin congratulated the students, emphasizing their individual value beyond their exam scores.
