Liang Wen-yin Announces Taichung Concert, Reveals Plans to Cut Hit Songs for Rare Gems

Singer Liang Wen-yin is set to perform in Taichung in September, expressing her eagerness to return to the city after a hiatus. "I haven't sung in Taichung for a long time; friends from the north and south can all participate. And this is the first time I'm singing in the afternoon, which I think is really cool!" she shared.

Reflecting on her previous concert in Taipei, Liang found the audience's deep engagement with each song particularly memorable. "For some love songs, I really felt like I could hear everyone's collective heartbeat. I loved that feeling so much," she recalled.

While the Taichung show will carry over elements from the Taipei performance, Liang confirmed the setlist will not be identical. "Basically, the setlist will be similar, but I will try my best to fulfill the B-side requests from fans, and of course, there are many songs you've been wishing for that we didn't get to sing last time," she said.

Liang also revealed a significant change for the upcoming concert: she will be setting aside many songs frequently performed at commercial events. "I can only say you must come to the concert! This time I've really had to cut many songs I usually sing. There are so many treasure songs that are rarely performed, and I'm really enjoying singing them myself," she enthused.

The "When Are You Meeting?" Liang Wen-yin concert in Taichung is scheduled for September 6th at 4:30 PM at Taichung Legacy. Tickets go on sale July 28th at 1:00 PM via Kuan Hong ticketing, Hi-Life, and OK Mart convenience stores.
