Linkin Park's Journey of 'Rebirth' Hits Big Screen in Taiwan This September

Linkin Park, the band behind global hits like "In the End" and "Numb," is bringing their "rebirth" to the big screen with the concert film "LINKIN PARK: UNSHATTER." Directed by band member Joseph Hahn, the movie is set to premiere in Taiwan on September 30.

The film promises an immersive experience, going beyond a simple concert compilation. It delves into the band's journey starting from 2022, showcasing their creative process in the studio, candid discussions among members, and the integration of new co-lead vocalist and drummer. The narrative culminates in their electrifying 2024 performance in São Paulo, weaving together historical footage with new material to illustrate how the band rebuilt itself after facing immense loss.

Since the tragic passing of lead vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017, the band members had been largely inactive as a unit until their return and subsequent tour last year. For long-time fans, the resurgence of familiar melodies is expected to be deeply emotional. The film highlights Linkin Park's approach to grief, choosing to move forward while carrying their pain, incorporating new members into their musical core, and creating a distinct sound that honors their classic spirit.

To enhance the viewing experience, "LINKIN PARK: UNSHATTER" will be presented in Taiwan in special formats, including SCREENX, 4DX, and ULTRA 4DX. Prior to the film's release, an "UNSHATTER Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo)" will be available on September 25. This soundtrack will feature live tracks spanning different eras of the band's career, including exclusive recordings not featured in the movie, offering fans a sonic prelude.
