Linkin Park Symphonic concert to feature rock band and live orchestra in Guatemala

Guatemala City will host a unique symphonic tribute to the iconic American band Linkin Park, merging a rock band with a live symphony orchestra. The "Linkin Park Sinfónico" concert promises to deliver the band's greatest hits in a novel arrangement at the Teatro Lux.

Fernando Díaz, coordinator for the organizing company Covers Only Project, highlighted the event's significance, calling it "the first symphonic nu-metal concert in Central America." He emphasized that the performance aims to honor Linkin Park's legacy as a pivotal band in the genre, featuring special arrangements and guest musicians from the National Symphony Orchestra.

This is the first concert of symphonic nu metal that will be held in Central America. We are going to honor the music of Linkin Park, which is the most important band in this genre in the world. We will include a section of guest musicians from the National Symphony Orchestra, with unpublished arrangements that will be part of the concert.

The concert is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 8 PM in Guatemala City's Teatro Lux. Over 20 musicians will be on stage. Doors will open between 7 PM and 7:30 PM. Covers Only Project, comprised of Guatemalan artists, has been preparing themed concerts since 2023 to cater to diverse musical tastes.
