Live-action 'Blue Lock' star Fumiya Takahashi to visit Taiwan for fan events

Fumiya Takahashi, the rising Japanese star portraying protagonist Yoichi Isagi in the live-action film "Blue Lock," will make his first visit to Taiwan on August 14 for a two-day promotional tour. The film, adapted from a popular soccer manga, is scheduled for release across Taiwan on August 12. During his visit, Takahashi will participate in five fan meet-and-greet sessions on August 14 and 15. These events will include exclusive benefits for fans, such as a Q&A session and group photos. Pre-sale tickets for these sessions will be available on August 3. Takahashi, who previously expressed his desire to try Taiwanese beef noodles and mango ice, will be accompanied by producer Shinzo Matsuhashi, who was instrumental in casting him as Isagi. Matsuhashi praised Takahashi's star quality, acting prowess, and leadership, deeming him the perfect embodiment of Isagi's character. Takahashi himself, a fan of the original manga, was inspired by Isagi's determination to overcome rivals and surpass himself. He emphasized the entire team's dedication to honoring the source material with passion and commitment during filming. Special ticket packages, priced at NT$1369, are available, including a movie ticket, a commemorative event ticket card, a first-week bonus item, and a set of three A3 posters featuring Yoichi Isagi.
