Lotte Department Store Nowon Branch Reopens After Major 17-Month Renovation

Lotte Department Store's Nowon branch has officially reopened its doors following an extensive 17-month renovation, marking the most significant overhaul since its initial opening. The revamped store aims to solidify its position as a key retail hub for Seoul's northeastern districts and the northern Gyeonggi province.

The comprehensive renovation, which commenced in March of last year, touched approximately 33,000 square meters, or 80% of the total retail space. The project focused on reorganizing product offerings across major categories like food, fashion, and beauty, alongside redesigning customer traffic flow and overall spatial aesthetics.

Key enhancements include the introduction of a dedicated 'K-Fashion Specialized Hall' last November, followed by the launch of a 'Sports Mega Shop' featuring major international brands and specialized beauty and jewelry sections. The final phase of the renovation saw the creation of a sprawling 'Premium Food Hall,' covering about 1,650 square meters and housing 25 diverse restaurants and bakeries, promising a new culinary destination for shoppers.
