Lotte Giants adjust roster and lineup for KBO restart

The Lotte Giants are set to resume their KBO League campaign with an adjusted roster, particularly in the outfield, following a suspension of games due to intense heatwaves. The team announced significant changes ahead of their matchup against the SSG Landers at the SSG Landers Field in Incheon.

Notably, infielder Jeong Cheol-won has been removed from the first team roster. In his place, the Giants have called up Jang Du-seong, signaling a strategic shift in the team's available players. This move comes as the league restarts after a period of disruption caused by extreme weather conditions.

The team has also finalized its batting order for the upcoming game. Na Seung-yeop is slated to bat second, followed by Hwang Seong-bin in center field, Victor Reyes in left field, and Han Dong-hee in the designated hitter spot batting cleanup. The rest of the lineup includes Ko Seung-min at second base, Yoon Dong-hee in right field, Noh Jin-hyuk at third base, and Jeon Min-jae.
