Luxury hotel Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur to open in late 2026

Travelers can now begin reserving stays at the upcoming Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur, a luxurious all-suite hotel set to open its doors in late 2026. Located in the vibrant Golden Triangle district of Malaysia's capital, the property promises a new standard of luxury accommodation.

This will be Hilton's inaugural Waldorf Astoria hotel in Malaysia. Situated near prominent landmarks such as Bukit Bintang, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, and the Petronas Twin Towers, the hotel will boast 268 suites. These accommodations will vary in size, from spacious 80-square-meter one-bedroom units to the expansive 745-square-meter Waldorf Astoria Suite. Each suite is designed with residential-style living spaces and offers panoramic city skyline views through floor-to-ceiling windows.

The culinary experience at Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur will feature collaborations with internationally renowned chefs Garima Arora and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Their expertise will be showcased across multiple dining venues and social spaces within the hotel. Arora, the chef and owner of Bangkok's award-winning restaurant Gaa, made history as the first Indian woman to earn a Michelin star in 2018. Vongerichten, a celebrated French culinary figure, oversees a global empire of fine dining establishments, bistros, and hotel ventures.

Beyond its luxurious suites and dining options, the hotel will also feature a comprehensive spa and wellness center offering personalized treatments. Facilities for gatherings and events will also be available. As the opening approaches, additional dining, wellness, and social offerings are expected to be unveiled.

In anticipation of its launch, the Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur is offering the 'Waldorf Astoria Indulgence Escape' package. Starting from RM 2,181 (approximately US$534), this package includes breakfast and 15,000 Hilton Honors Points for guests booking a minimum two-night stay. Etienne Dalancon, general manager of Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur, expressed excitement, stating, "Now open for reservations, Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur marks the reawakening of a truly iconic address, reimagined for a new generation of discerning travelers.
