Magdalena Contreras Mayor Calls for Unity in 4T Movement Under Sheinbaum

Magdalena Contreras Mayor Fernando Mercado urged supporters to unite around the political movement led by Claudia Sheinbaum. Speaking at an event focused on defending national sovereignty, Mercado emphasized that Mexico's ongoing transformation requires continued organization, participation, and closeness to the people.

"We are very happy about the transformation! We leave with renewed spirit, we leave active, we leave with strength to defend the project of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, of Claudia Sheinbaum and of Clara Brugada," Mercado stated. He stressed the movement's responsibility to remain united, prioritizing the nation's and its people's well-being above any personal interests.

Mercado voiced his support for Sheinbaum, who is poised to become president, and for Mexico City Mayor Clara Brugada. He highlighted that the continuation of the transformation hinges on strengthening territorial work, community organization, and the participation of party members. The mayor also called for solidarity in defending national sovereignty and the transformation project, concluding with a patriotic exclamation.
