Major departures from Osijek: Jurišić and Omerović continue their careers in Portugal

Osijek has confirmed the departure of two important first-team players, Roko Jurišić and Nail Omerović, who will continue their careers at Portuguese top-flight club Estoril.

Jurišić spent two and a half seasons with the Slavonian club after arriving from Slovenia's Mura. His work rate, energy and ability to handle different demands quickly established him in the team. He made 81 appearances for Osijek's first team, scoring four goals and providing seven assists.

Omerović joined Osijek in 2021 from Tuzla's Sloboda and began his path with Osijek II. Through his work and quality, he earned a place in the senior side and became an important and reliable member of the squad. He recorded 132 first-team appearances, 19 goals and eight assists. He had also scored five times in the Croatian top flight this season.

His performances brought call-ups first to Bosnia and Herzegovina's youth national team and later to the senior side. Osijek confirmed the moves in a statement on Sunday.
