Malatya Police Arrest Seven in Anti-Drug Operation

Anti-drug units of the Malatya Provincial Police Department launched an operation targeting drug traffickers in the city from June 19 to 21. The operation involved searches of six residences and seven individuals suspected of involvement in drug dealing.

During the searches, law enforcement officers discovered and seized a significant quantity of narcotics and related materials. The confiscated items included 125 synthetic pills, 46 other types of drug pills, 30 grams of raw cannabinoid material, and 6 grams of cannabis. Additionally, three unlicensed handguns and three rifles were found and confiscated.

As a result of the operation, seven individuals were taken into custody. Following interrogation and processing at the police station, the suspects were transferred to the courthouse. A judicial decision led to the arrest and detention of all seven individuals pending further investigation and trial.
