Man and woman dead after hours-long police siege in outback Queensland

A tragic end to an hours-long police siege in outback Queensland has resulted in the deaths of a man and a woman. The incident unfolded in Charleville, a town located 600 kilometers west of Toowoomba, after police responded to reports of a serious assault at a residence.
