Man appears at police station and reportedly confesses to killing woman who disappeared in Conchalí in 2008

A 42-year-old man reportedly went to a police station in Conchalí and confessed to a crime connected to the disappearance of a young woman in 2008.

A police operation was under way in the early hours of Monday in the Metropolitan Region after new information emerged in the long-running case.

The report, based on preliminary information gathered by La Radio, said the man presented himself at the 5th police station. The investigation remained in progress.
