Man Arrested After Life-Threatening Knife Attack in German Dormitory

A violent altercation in a workers' dormitory in Gütersloh has led to a life-threatening knife attack, with police arresting a 32-year-old man on suspicion of assault. The incident, which occurred during the night, left a 25-year-old roommate with severe injuries.

Emergency services arrived at the scene and provided first aid to the critically injured victim. The 25-year-old sustained significant wounds to his leg and head. The alleged assailant also reportedly inflicted injuries upon himself. Other residents of the dormitory alerted the police, who apprehended the suspect, identified as a Romanian national, at the same location.
