We’ve had cases where workers killed their employer. We’ve had cases where security men killed their bosses just because they want to cut away their jewelry.

Destiny's actions are particularly egregious given the decade he spent under his aunt's care, from the tender age of five to fifteen. She provided for him, saw him through his education, and offered him a stable home. Yet, inexplicably, he conceived a plan to abduct her, paying a substantial sum of N900,000 to individuals he presumed were kidnappers. This act, as described by SP Edafe, was not born of necessity but seemingly from a twisted impulse, as Destiny himself admitted guilt while struggling to articulate his motives, attributing it to "the devil's work."
