Man Arrested in South Korea on Suspicion of Sexually Harassing Minor

Police in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, have arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of sexually harassing a minor. The incident occurred on the evening of May 24, when the suspect allegedly followed a female student after she provided him with directions.

According to the investigation, the man pursued the student for approximately 20 minutes in the Dujeong-dong area. He reportedly touched her inappropriately and, despite her clear rejection of his advances, attempted to forcibly drag her away by holding her hand. The assault was partially captured on surveillance cameras.

The victim managed to break free and escape, subsequently informing her parents. Police apprehended the suspect at his residence on May 26. During questioning, the man denied the charges, asserting that he did not touch the victim's body.
