Man attacks Czech city officers after waking from hammock, police say

What began as a routine request to remove a hammock from a public space turned into an attack on municipal police in České Budějovice.

The officers had approached a man sleeping between trees and asked him to pack up and leave. He woke and attacked them, then continued behaving violently after officers took him to a sobering-up station. One of the municipal officers suffered an injury to his hand.
