Man disguised as woman arrested for filming in women's changing room at Caribbean Bay

A man in his 20s faces charges for allegedly disguising himself as a woman to film inside the women's changing room at the Caribbean Bay water park. He has been transferred to prosecutors by the Yongin Dongbu Police Station on charges including violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes and indecent assault.

The suspect reportedly entered the women's changing room on July 30 around 4:40 p.m., wearing a wig, sunglasses, and a mask to obscure his gender. He is accused of illegally filming women changing clothes using his mobile phone on at least three occasions in July.

During the investigation, police seized a watch-shaped hidden camera, a mobile phone, a laptop, and storage devices. Multiple illegally filmed videos were reportedly found on these devices. So far, three victims have been identified, but the number could increase as digital forensic analysis is ongoing. There is no indication that the filmed content has been externally distributed.

In addition to the filming allegations, the man is also accused of indecent assault, including touching a woman's buttocks in the wave pool on August 1. He reportedly told police that he filmed the videos for personal viewing and had no intention of distributing them externally.
