Man Kills Mother in El Jadida, Morocco; Investigation Underway

A horrific crime against a parent has shaken the community of Douar Chweirif in the El Jadida province of Morocco, where a 40-year-old man is accused of fatally assaulting his 70-year-old mother.

The incident occurred within the family home, prompting intervention from the Royal Gendarmerie of Moulay Abdallah. Upon receiving notification of the assault between the son and his mother, gendarmes quickly responded to the scene.

Authorities successfully apprehended the suspect. Meanwhile, the victim, who sustained severe injuries, was rushed to Mohammed V Regional Hospital in El Jadida for urgent medical treatment. Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.
