Man Severely Injured in Berlin Robbery with Cutter Knives

A violent robbery in Berlin-Mitte left a 21-year-old man with serious injuries after he was attacked with cutter knives. According to police reports, four masked individuals ambushed the victim late Monday evening on Oranienburger Straße. They allegedly stole cash and a bank card from him. During the assault, two of the attackers inflicted multiple stab wounds to his upper body with cutter knives. The victim also sustained injuries to his face from blunt force trauma, police stated.

The injured 21-year-old was transported to a hospital for inpatient treatment. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. as the victim was walking near a hill by the Monbijou Fountain. He managed to flee into a nearby convenience store, where an employee promptly contacted the police and emergency services. The assailants fled the scene before authorities arrived.
