Man stabbed to death in Italian home; girlfriend suspected

A 62-year-old man, identified as Marco Pennesi, was found dead in his home in Civitanova Marche, Italy, on Tuesday evening. He suffered a deep stab wound to the arm, likely leading to death by blood loss.

The discovery was made after a neighbor heard shouting and contacted a cousin of Pennesi, who then found the body. Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the death, gathering statements from various individuals, including the victim's girlfriend, who is approximately 30 years old.

Investigators are treating the girlfriend as the primary suspect, suggesting the fatal incident may have escalated from a domestic argument.
