Mandala Theatre welcomes third batch of Mandala Drama School

Mandala Theatre Nepal has officially commenced its 18-month intensive residential theatre training program by welcoming the third batch of students to the Mandala Drama School (MDS). The cohort, designated for the 2026–2027 academic year, gathered at the Mandala Theatre for a formal welcome program on Friday.

This initiative is part of Project RANGA (Reclaiming Advocacy through Narratives, Debates, Grassroots Theatre and Arts). The project aims to empower individuals and communities by utilizing theatre and various art forms as tools for advocacy and social change. The intensive training is designed to equip students with comprehensive skills in theatre practice.

The program's implementation and reach are supported by external funding, underscoring a commitment to fostering artistic development and advocacy within Nepal. The commencement of the third batch signifies the ongoing success and importance of the MDS in nurturing new talent in the performing arts.
