Maribel Guardia surprised by ex-daughter-in-law's use of private security

Mexican actress Maribel Guardia has voiced surprise at her ex-daughter-in-law Imelda Garza Tuñón's decision to employ private security, known as "guaruras," for protection. Guardia noted that despite her own extensive career spanning over forty years, she has never felt the need for personal security detail.

Speaking to "Venga la alegría," Guardia maintained a conciliatory tone regarding Tuñón's new relationship with Jorge Baruch. She expressed hope that Tuñón has made a good choice, as Baruch will be close to their son, José Julián. Guardia, though separated from the child for over a year, continues to prioritize his well-being.

Guardia acknowledged that Tuñón's use of private security, which she described as "two" individuals accompanying her, provides reassurance for the child's safety, especially given Tuñón's claims of receiving threats. So, I see her very well protected, it's good that the child is even better," Guardia stated.

Despite ongoing legal confrontations with Tuñón, Guardia extended her best wishes to her ex-daughter-in-law, recognizing her as the mother of her grandson. She concluded by expressing her prayers for the protection of her grandson, José Julián, and for Imelda, invoking divine guidance and protection for them both.
