A 2025 article in Semana magazine described one of her Madrid apartments as a personal sanctuary with a minimalist Nordic style, featuring a collection of books and art, including a painting by Fernando García del Real and an antique horse sculpture, reflecting her and her partner's taste for sculptural beauty. Verdú, born in Madrid in 1970 to a middle-class family, began her acting career in the 1980s and has since starred in numerous acclaimed films, earning accolades such as two Goya Awards and the National Cinematography Prize of Spain.
