Martín Fierro Awards Honor Best of Argentine Digital Journalism 2025

The Goldencenter in Parque Norte hosted the second annual Martín Fierro de Portales Web awards ceremony on Thursday evening, celebrating the best of Argentine digital journalism from 2025. The gala was co-hosted by Julieta Prandi and Nacho Girón.

According to the Argentine Association of Television and Radio Journalists (APTRA), the winners were selected through a voting process involving the association's members. A total of 33 distinct categories were recognized, covering a wide spectrum of digital journalistic endeavors.

The awards celebrated various aspects of online journalism, including news websites, gaming content, investigative journalism, current affairs reporting, overall design, interviews, urban chronicles, and the work of individual journalists and columnists. Special attention was given to different specializations such as political, economic, sports, and entertainment reporting, as well as judicial and crime reporting.

Categories also extended to digital editors, media innovation, general information sites, and specific regional publications from within Argentina. The recognition highlighted the diverse and evolving landscape of digital media in the country, acknowledging both content creators and the platforms that host them.
