Martínez scores in stoppage time as Inter rally to beat Napoli

Lautaro Martínez struck in the 91st minute to complete Inter Milan’s stunning comeback from two goals down and secure a 3-2 home win over Napoli. The victory kept Inter’s title defence perfect at the start of the Serie A season.

Napoli appeared in control after Matteo Politano scored from a rebound in the 50th minute and Rasmus Højlund added a second three minutes later. Inter responded almost immediately, with Martínez cutting the deficit before Marcus Thuram headed in Carlos Augusto’s cross to level the match eight minutes from time.

Both teams created chances in an open finish, but Inter found the decisive moment. Martínez reacted at the back post to stab in a corner and send the home side ahead.

Torino also came from behind, beating Fiorentina 2-1 for a first win under new coach Ignazio Abate. Mateo Pellegrino’s long-range effort went through goalkeeper Lucas Perri, but Perri later made several saves before his team turned the match around. Rolando Mandragora equalised from outside the box, and Che Adams scored from close range in the 82nd minute.
