Marvel confirms Ryan Gosling as Ghost Rider, announces new Black Panther actor

Marvel Studios has officially announced that Ryan Gosling will take on the iconic role of Ghost Rider, bringing the fiery anti-hero back to the big screen. The film is slated for release in 2028, marking a new chapter for the character previously portrayed by Nicolas Cage in 2007 and 2011.

Gosling will reunite with director Shawn Levy, who is also helming the upcoming "Star Wars: Starfighter," starring Gosling and scheduled to debut in 2027. This collaboration highlights a significant push for Marvel in expanding its cinematic universe with major stars and anticipated projects.

In addition to the Ghost Rider news, Marvel revealed that David Jonsson has been cast as the new Black Panther. Jonsson will portray the son of T'Challa, the character originally embodied by the late Chadwick Boseman. This casting continues the legacy of the Black Panther mantle, with Letitia Wright having previously taken over the role after Boseman's passing.

"Black Panther 3" is projected to hit theaters in December 2028, following the introduction of Jonsson's character. The announcement signals Marvel's long-term planning for its key franchises, promising new storylines and character developments for fans.
