Maserati brings Italian track character to Taiwan with limited-edition Grecale Vetta

Maserati is bringing a distinctly Italian track-inspired look to Taiwan with the limited-edition Grecale Vetta series, a local special edition that starts at NT$3.79 million.

Taiwan Montegna, Maserati’s distributor in Taiwan, announced on September 3 that it had worked with the factory to create two models for limited preorders: the Grecale Vetta and the performance-focused Grecale Modena Vetta. Their preorder prices are NT$3.79 million and NT$4.338 million respectively.

The Vetta name means “summit” in Italian, a choice intended to represent upward exploration and a drive to break through limits. Both vehicles feature Maserati’s Corsa Stripe track design language, including green, white and red trim on the vertical grille and colored markings on the front and rear wheels. The Modena Vetta adds 21-inch lightweight forged wheels for a more aggressive stance.

The Grecale Vetta uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder mild-hybrid system producing 300 horsepower and 45.9 kilogram-metres of torque. With Q4 active torque-control all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic-manual transmission, it can accelerate from zero to 100 kph in 5.6 seconds. The Modena Vetta raises output to 330 horsepower and cuts that time to 5.3 seconds.

The cabin includes 12.3-inch digital instruments, 12.3-inch and 8.8-inch central displays, premium leather seats with front ventilation and a 14-speaker Sonus faber audio system. An advanced ADAS driver-assistance package comes standard across the series.
