A suspect was apprehended in Ohio last week after investigators gained access to encrypted messages exchanged among alleged group members. This individual faces charges of conspiracy against the United States and attempted murder of a federal agent. FBI Director Kash Patel announced on social media that the planned attacks were stopped in time, referring to the operation conducted across several states. CBS News reports that five individuals are currently in custody. Investigators believe the group aimed to cause chaos at the White House UFC event, using explosive drones to direct the crowd towards snipers, after which a second group would attack the complex's gates.
