Masters of Turkish Painting Unite for '16 Years Full of Art' Exhibition

Areté, known for its contributions to the art ecosystem and strong institutional memory, is marking its 16th anniversary with a significant exhibition titled '16 Years Full of Art.' The exhibition brings together master artists and highlights projects realized since the institution's journey began in 2010.

More than just a retrospective, the exhibition aims to create a platform for new dialogues among artists and across generations, generating considerable excitement within the art community. It showcases works by both classic masters who have shaped Turkish painting and contemporary artists with international recognition.

The collection includes pieces by prominent artists such as Devrim Erbil, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, Burhan Doğançay, and many others, blending the rich experiences of the past with the artistic energy of the present. Areté's management expressed confidence that this strong connection to the past will inspire new encounters and creative dialogues for art lovers.

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge at Areté's new exhibition space in Çankaya, Ankara. It runs until June 30, daily from 09:30 to 18:30, except on Sundays.
