Mauricio Tabe announces "Expressions of Freedom" contest; 3 categories to award 20,000 pesos each

Miguel Hidalgo Mayor Mauricio Tabe has launched the "Expressions of Freedom" contest, an initiative designed to imbue the upcoming October 2 celebration of the Day of Freedom with deeper meaning. The contest is open to the general public, encouraging participation in reflecting on the values of liberty and justice.

The contest features three distinct categories: "Pluma Libre," which accepts essays or stories; "Historias en Libertad," focusing on digital creations; and "Enfoque Ciudadano," centered on photography. The mayor emphasized that the goal is to encourage creative expression and a defense of freedom.

There will be a prize of 20,000 pesos for the winner of each category, in addition to honorable mentions and the publication of the work. Interested individuals can submit their works at the Faros de Saber, and they will be received until September 18, so the invitation is open: to defend freedom, to create, to express, and to raise your voice.
