Amidst rumors and speculation, López addressed the media, sharing his feelings and his wife Daniela Christiansson's reaction. Reports indicated that when signing their contracts, the ex-couple had agreed to avoid intimate scenes to prevent issues with López's current partner.

However, the series' plot intentionally played on the potential discomfort of the protagonists having to kiss on camera. López clarified that while there wasn't a specific clause to prevent a real kiss, a consensus was reached after extensive discussions among all parties involved. "When they showed us the script and we started reading the lines, there was a hope from Telefe [that they would kiss] and from everyone. We had to talk and negotiate; it wasn't arduous, but we did talk quite a bit, and they were always waiting for many things to happen," the athlete remarked.

Regarding his wife, Swedish model Daniela Christiansson, with whom he has two children and recently settled in Argentina, López emphasized that she understood the scene was purely a professional matter. Christiansson, his partner for over a decade, comprehended that the kiss was a work requirement within the fictional narrative.
