Mayor Çavuşoğlu promises transportation improvements for Çameli

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu has pledged significant transportation upgrades for the Çameli district, promising to enhance connectivity and ease of travel for residents. During a meeting with local producers in Çameli, Çavuşoğlu announced that the road linking Karabayır in Çameli with Gürleyik in Muğla province will be strengthened.

This project, to be undertaken in coordination with the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, is slated for completion in 2027. Mayor Çavuşoğlu emphasized that the improved route will not only benefit travel within the district but also significantly speed up access to critical points like Dalaman Airport. "Our friends from Karabayır, Elmalı, and Kirazlıyayla will now be able to easily reach Dalaman Airport, and our friends living in Muğla's districts will be able to reach here more easily to enjoy the cool summer air," he stated.

Furthermore, Çavuşoğlu addressed the needs of residents in Akpınar, promising to modernize the local road infrastructure. He declared that the dusty and difficult roads connecting Karabayır and Akpınar will be replaced with modern standards by 2027. "We will also give our word to our citizens in Akpınar; our headman is here, and I give this promise in your presence. We will relieve them of the burden of traveling on dusty roads when they descend to Karabayır," Çavuşoğlu said.

The mayor stressed the importance of working hand-in-hand with the city's residents, stating that the municipality's resources will continue to be shared with the people. He expressed his hope that the new roads will bring prosperity to Çameli, Karabayır, and Akpınar.
