Mayor Joins Children at Adventure Park's Summer Opening

Konak Mayor Nilüfer Çınarlı Mutlu celebrated the summer season opening of the Macera Park adventure park by spending time with local children. The park, located within the Çınartepe Aydın Erten Recreation Area, reopened its doors and offered free admission on its first day as a special "report card gift" for students transitioning into summer vacation.

We are happy to reopen Macera Park within the Çınartepe Aydın Erten Recreation Area. This is not just a fun meeting point for our children, but also for our youth and families to spend quality time together. I invite all Izmir residents to experience what Macera Park has to offer.

Mayor Mutlu, accompanied by local headmen, explored the park's attractions, which include zip lines, a giant swing, a shooting range, a children's rope course, and a net trampoline. She engaged with children and their families, sharing in their enjoyment and discussing the park's offerings. The mayor emphasized the park's role as an inclusive space for children, youth, and families.

Visitors expressed their delight with the park. One child, Çınar, who had visited before, eagerly awaited the new season and recommended the attractions. Cansu Gökmen, another visitor, discovered the park via social media and was thrilled by the adrenaline-pumping activities. Melahat Tatar brought her grandchildren, noting how much they enjoyed the park and expressing gratitude to the mayor for providing such an opportunity. Her granddaughter, Masal, sent greetings to the mayor after trying all the courses.

Münire Varol highlighted the park's scenic views and affordable options, particularly mentioning the "Mutluluk Kahvesi" (Happiness Coffee) cafe. She appreciated the free access on the opening day, especially given current economic constraints, and confirmed her intention to return. The park is easily accessible via ESHOT bus line 42 and operates on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
