Media Studies Program at Mohammed I University Celebrates Student Achievements in Oujda

Mohammed I University in Oujda celebrated the conclusion of its "Media Studies" program, honoring the academic achievements of its Master's students. The event, held under the theme "We Celebrate Achievement… We Look to the Future," marked the graduation of the third cohort from the "Journalism and Digital Media" Master's program.

This event, which the Master's program consistently organizes at the end of each spring semester, constitutes an important annual station for evaluating the educational outcomes and appreciating the academic performance of the students.

Hisham Kazout, the program's coordinator, described the event as an important annual milestone for evaluating educational outcomes and recognizing student performance. He noted that the gathering facilitates the sharing of academic progress and explores new avenues for developing media education. It also serves as a platform to showcase student skills and creativity, strengthening the link between academic training and the professional world through collaboration with media institutions.

Yahya Amara, coordinator of the "Cultural Industries, Media, Linguistics, and Sociological Research" laboratory at the same faculty, emphasized the noble pedagogical, human, and societal message behind celebrating the academic year's end and the new graduating class. He stated that this event symbolically and scientifically acknowledges the students' distinguished paths throughout their studies, viewing the recognition and encouragement of young talent as a fundamental pillar for building societies and nations.
