Mega Project Nigeria Expo 2026 to Mark 10th Anniversary with Focus on Infrastructure and National Development

Preparations are underway for the 10th edition of the Mega Project Nigeria Expo 2026, scheduled to take place from August 25-27 at the Landmark Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. Organized by Elan Expo, the event is Nigeria's leading exhibition focused on infrastructure, construction, engineering, and real estate.

Under the theme "Building the Future: A Decade of Infrastructure, Innovation and National Development," this year's expo marks ten years of fostering connections between government bodies, investors, developers, contractors, engineers, manufacturers, consultants, financial institutions, and technology providers. The core objective remains to stimulate sustainable infrastructure development and bolster economic growth across Nigeria.

The Convener of the Mega Project Nigeria Expo highlighted the event's significant impact over the past decade in advancing collaboration, promoting innovation, and generating business opportunities within Nigeria's built environment. This milestone edition signifies a reinforced dedication to supporting the nation's infrastructure and housing agendas.

This year's expo will include an international exhibition, high-level conferences, investment forums, business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) meetings, product launches, and networking sessions. Key discussion areas will encompass infrastructure financing, housing development, smart city initiatives, sustainable construction practices, and public-private partnerships.

A significant aspect of the 2026 edition is the strengthened collaboration with the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) and the Mortgage Banking Association of Nigeria (MBAN). These partnerships aim to bolster housing development, improve access to mortgage finance, attract investment in the real estate sector, and enhance cooperation among developers, financial institutions, and policymakers. Additionally, the organizers are collaborating with public institutions, professional bodies, and private sector stakeholders to ensure the event yields tangible outcomes for national development. As part of its tenth-anniversary celebrations, the Expo will recognize over 100 outstanding individuals, professional associations, government institutions, and private-sector organizations for their substantial contributions to engineering, construction, infrastructure development, and the growth of the Expo itself.
